• Single user Lifelines^TM won't open!
• - This is most likely caused by the presence of the lifeline.lk file. To remove this file, Click Start , Click Find, Click Files and Folders. Type *.lk in the search line and be sure you are searching on the drive where Lifelines is installed, usually your C drive. When Windows shows you the lifeline.lk file, highlight lifeline.lk and delete it.
• How do I import my Engine Guard^TM results?
• - (Single user) Save labunit.ll and labdetail.ll into your Lifeline folder. Open Lifelines. Click Utilities, Click Import Engine Guard.
• - (Multi-user/Network Version) Save labunit.ll and labdetail.ll into Progress/wrk folder. Open Lifelines. Click Utilities, Click Import Engine Guard.
• But, I don't have labunit.ll and labdetail.ll! I have univ.zip or just plain univ!
  • - Unzip univ.zip into your lifeline or progress/wrk folder. labunit.ll and labdetail.ll will be extracted, and you will be able to import the data as normal.
• What do I need to do to use Lifelines on the Web^TM?
• - Contact your Sales Representative! Your Universal Sales Representative will export your current data from your local computer and send it to Universal to be imported into the Lifelines on the Web^TM program.
• A reasonably current computer capable of running Internet Explorer 5, or comparable.
• What are the benefit of using Lifelines on the Web^TM?
  • Lifeline Customers will be able to access their equipment records from any Internet enabled personal computer at any time.
  • Engine Guard results will be integrated into customer records without needing to be manually imported.
  • Universal Sales Representatives will oversee this process to ensure excellent results and smooth operations. Universal will import existing Lifeline User Records so that no information is lost.
  • Universal will perform daily backups to protect all Lifelines records.
